FAQ

What type of franchise is available?
We franchise the right to operate a business that provides portable miniature golf courses set-up on site for birthday parties, corporate, school and special events. The franchise or “franchised business” does business under the trade name, Putt-2-Go®, and also uses our other related service marks, trademarks or logos (collectively called the “Marks”). You will operate the franchise from a home office. The franchise operates using our standards and business methods, called our “System.”

How much does the franchise cost?
The estimated initial investment for a franchise is from $65,100 to $95,500. This includes a franchise fee from $25,000 to $40,000.

How much is the fee for continuing support services?
The continuing services or “royalty fee,” is 5% of your gross sales and is paid weekly. This fee entitles you to use the “Putt-2-Go®” service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being a Putt-2-Go franchise.

Will I have an exclusive territory?
You will not receive an exclusive territory. You will receive one of four types of areas that we offer which vary in population and corresponding franchise fee. We will grant you a territory (called an “area of primary responsibility” or “area”), defined by zip codes or other physical, political or natural boundaries.

What about advertising?
Putt-2-Go name and reputation is an important part of our business. You will spend a minimum of $1,000 on grand-debut advertising during the first three months of operations. You will also spend at least 8% of your gross sales per month on local advertising. In addition, you will be expected to make Marketing Fund contributions of up to 2% of your weekly gross sales.

How much training is provided?
The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of a Putt-2-Go franchise and is comprised of classroom and on-the-job training.

What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for three successive terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
